SHEENA SOOD
Sheena is the designer and founder of abacaxi, her fashion label named after the Portuguese word for pineapple. She’s lived in Brooklyn, New York since 2006.
Before specializing in textile design, photography and visual art were her first forms of expression. The photos featured on this portfolio site are all taken with her Dad’s 35mm camera- the same one she learned film photography with in high school.
Sheena is also a model and her clients include Ivy Park, Mara Hoffman, Cuup, and Vince. She enjoys both being in front of and behind the lens, styling, creative direction - many aspects of fashion photography and video.
